Best Ever Homemade Salsa Recipe

Put this salsa recipe to good use and your friends and family will come flocking to you to ask you how to make it. One of the good things I'm known for at my church is how delicious this salsa recipe is. (I hope there aren't too many bad things I'm known for). One lady even requested that I teach a salsa making class at one of our women's activities! I could pretty much eat this Salsa well into the night, it's that good. And it's so easy to make! I used to work at Lifetime Fitness (my fav gym ever) and one of the high school kids that I worked with would make this salsa recipe in bulk and sell it to co-workers. Whenever he would make it, I would buy it and beg for more. He refused to give me the recipe, thinking he would sell it to Pace Picante Sauce and company or something?! I don't know, but he did divulge the top secret salsa recipe to my good friend Angie. I'm forever thankful that Angie could work her persuasive powers and get her hands on it! K, so here it is...

Homemade Cilantro Salsa Recipe

2 Cans of diced tomatoes (or fresh tomatoes)

1/2 a bunch of cilantro

3 green onions or 1/2 red onion

1/8 Cup of vinegar

1/2 tsp. salt

1-2 tsp. onion powder

1-2 tsp. garlic powder

1-3 Jalapenos

1 clove garlic (optional)

Put all ingredients in a food processor and that's it! I don't even measure the spices out and it always turns out so fantastico.

**When jalapenos are in season, they are hot. I start with half first, then see how it tastes. Put more in if you like your salsa fiery hot.

All my kids LOVE this salsa recipe, even my 2-year-old chows down on it. Try it, you'll like it.
